We don't like long privacy policies any more than you do. Here's the short version.

What we collect

If you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for names, locations, phone numbers, or anything else. Our website may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser, referrer) the way most websites do.

How we use it

We use your email to send you what you signed up for: occasional notes from Hill Station Co. about the opening catalog, grower stories, and new releases. We won't sell, rent, or trade your address, and we won't send promotional content from other companies.

Who processes it

Email delivery is handled by our email service provider (currently Buttondown). They store your address in order to deliver our messages. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use tracking cookies. If we add lightweight analytics, we'll use privacy-friendly tools (like Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) that don't use cookies or build personal profiles.

Unsubscribing and removal

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@hillstation.co at any time and ask us to remove your address. We'll do it and confirm.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Write us at hello@hillstation.co. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

Our site and email list are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll note it here and update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll email our list first.
